The short version: Pickory doesn't collect anything. There's no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server. Your items, sales, costs and photos stay on your iPhone.
Nothing. Pickory has no sign-up, no user accounts, and no analytics, advertising or tracking software of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, and we have no way to identify you.
Everything you enter — items, purchase costs, sales, expenses, mileage and photos — is stored only on your device. Pickory has no server to sync to, so your records are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
This also means your data is only as backed up as your iPhone is. Pickory includes an export/backup feature so you can save a copy wherever you choose.
Pickory works fully offline. There is exactly one network request the app can make, and it is off by default:
When you tap a link such as “see what it sold for on eBay” or a marketplace shortcut, Pickory simply opens that website in your browser or that company's app. Those sites have their own privacy policies and Pickory sends them nothing about you.
Pickory uses your camera to photograph items and to scan barcodes, and can read printed text from a photo to fill in an item's name. All of that image processing happens on your device using Apple's built-in tools. Your photos are never uploaded.
Pickory Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. All payment handling is done by Apple — we never see or receive your payment details. Your subscription status is provided to the app by Apple, which is why Pickory still doesn't need an account. Apple's privacy policy governs the transaction.
We don't share or sell your information, because we don't have it.
Pickory is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them (or from anyone).
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
